BFSPS Latest Update as of March, 2006

Detailed Installation Instructions

    1. The update files provided are password protected, contact us at support@fireplanning.com for the password, unless you have already been provided with the password. If you require the password, you must provide us with your full name, address, phone number and registration number. If you do not have a registration number, then you must provide us with the name of your organization. If we can not locate any of your information in our database you will be contacted. Please allow one (1) working day for a response. We will provide you with a response as soon as possible.
       
    2. When you click on any of the updates available a pop-up box will appear. Choose "Save As". Choose the directory you wish to save the file and click on "Save"

    3. Once you have received the password, open your Windows Explorer and navigate to the folder where you saved the file. The file is called "Update.exe".

    4. Double click the file. This will bring up a WinZip Extractor pop-up box. If you installed the BFSPS to the default location "C:\Bfsps" then click "UnZip". This will self extract all files to the appropriate areas. If you installed the BFSPS to another drive, i.e. "D:\Bfsps" then change the "C" with "D" in the WinZip Extractor parameters, and then click " UnZip". If you changed the directory name, i. e. "C:\Fire Safety" then change "Bfsps" in the WinZip Extractor parameters with the name you used, and then click "UnZip". If you put the program in a subdirectory, i.e. "C:\Fire Safety Plan\Bfsps" then you will have to add the directory in the WinZip Extractor parameters, then click " UnZip".
       
    5. If you're unsure or require further instruction on installing the update, please provide us the information on exactly where you installed the BFSPS. i.e. Drive, Directory, Subdirectory, etc., and we will provide you with the parameters to enter into the WinZip Extractor.
